LG 60PA6500 Reasonable price.

As the title suggests, there are pros and cons with LG 60PA6500 TV. First, however, the general view:

The order was easily lived with Amazon, are to handle, as well as the payment

The delivery took place after telefonischem Avis Hermes shipping. Apparently I had a bad day, the two drivers, in any case, the caller was already hectic morning at 11 clock on the phone AND WOULD stressed. The delivery itself was held at the agreed time to 13h. Since I live in the 5 floor of an old building and do not have a lift, I loved it that the two have carried up the TV. However, I heard it on the stairs more than once that the cardboard cut to the wall and one or two times against the wall cracked the corner. – So far so good, the packaging was fortunately fine and at first glance, everything is LG 60PA6500 OK.

The two drivers were obviously not as enthusiastic about the 5th floor and were in a hurry then disappear again.

Since I was at the time alone in the apartment, proved already unpacking not easy. The box was wrapped in two plastic Schürbändern only when I cut open the box again and wanted to raise the short and rearranging, it all dissolved and the TV was in the styrofoam box in the room without. So, the two bands ended up all together. It would have been impossible to imagine what happens when these break during transport, the TV then falls out of the box. Should improve the Amazon (tape on cardboard would help there already)

After I removed the device from the Styrofoam and of course had previously turned over, so that the foot could be mounted, I directed him to return to it on the TV table to lift (about 40ch high). Now you can imagine that this is almost impossible with the size and weight. That’s why I ran off the foam sheet to the LG 60PA6500 TV and grabbed this front top left and right at the bottom. HDMI: With HDMI everything works as expected. The connection enables fast, image and sound are synchronized and the quality is great for a TV in this price range.

The switch between the HDMI ports work without delay. The placement of the two HDMI slots on the left side, however, is not ideal for my taste. The connections are a bit far out, so that a normal HDMI cable is conditioned to see by its stiffness. It is recommended to use cables with angled connectors.

What is to be noted here is commended that each slot can be assigned to devices. Those who do not know as to which input device which he can deposit it. So I always find it fast my Xbox, Apple TV and the HDMI connection for the MacBook Pro.

Digital TV without CI module: Runs well, fast and smooth. The picture quality is not the best, as more than 5m, please keep your distance if SD is beheld. As a whole, but the TV makes a good SD picture, which can certainly be seen without having to get a headache.

consoles: I have an Xbox 360 with the I insert now and then a game. Contrary to the mentioned delay I have to say that picture, sound, and input on the controller are synchronized. A noticeable delay does not exist. Both shooter and racing games work great. The image is sharp on 1080i and there is rich colors (depending on the mode). The blacks are really black, not gray or streaky, no really black, as if the LG 60PA6500 TV to the corresponding image location “from”.

Conclusion:

All in all I’m very happy with the TV. The LG 60PA6500 price is right for what you get. Even if the TV is not web-enabled, the feature set is sufficient. The picture quality for the price of the device quite convincing and can compete with other more expensive devices certainly. The power supply, which can be heard easily when muted growls something. But this will be drowned out by the sound immediately and thus is not disturbing. The design and size are good and look great in any living room a bit ago. One should not disregard the size of the device that you should wegsitzen least 4-5 feet, otherwise the image is visibly worse and the head must be “rotated”. I would buy this TV again.
